Terms and Conditions

The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “GTC”) apply to any order placed on the Learn with Pierre website (https://www.learnwithpierre.com) or directly with Pierre GERAUD, within the scope of online tutoring activities.
By confirming a booking, the client declares having read, understood, and unreservedly accepted these GTC.

1. Service Provider Identity

2. Purpose

These GTC define the mutual rights and obligations regarding the sale of private lessons and/or online tutoring for middle school students and equivalent levels.​

3. Services Offered

  • Online private lessons (via Zoom, Google Meet, or other platforms).

  • Personalized support: follow-up, exercises, and progress assessments.

  • Individual or small group sessions.

  • Lesson duration: 55 minutes, unless otherwise stated.

4. Orders and Bookings

  • Booking is done online through the website.

  • The client receives a booking confirmation by email.

  • Any order implies full acceptance of these GTC.

5. Prices and Payment

  • The applicable prices are those displayed on the website on the day of the order.

  • Prices are shown in euros, excluding taxes.

  • Payment is made online (Stripe, PayPal) or by any other agreed method.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation by the client: Any session canceled less than 24 hours before the start time remains fully due.

  • Cancellation by Learn with Pierre: In case of a major impediment, the lesson will be fully rescheduled or refunded.

  • Lateness: Beyond 15 minutes without notice, the session is considered completed.

7. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services fully performed before the end of the 14-day legal period, nor to lessons scheduled on a fixed date.
However, for transparency, the client may request the cancellation and refund of an unused lesson package within 14 days of purchase.

8. Client Obligations

  • Provide accurate information during registration.

  • Have adequate equipment (computer, stable internet connection, microphone, webcam).

  • Respect agreed schedules.

  • Maintain a respectful attitude and ensure smooth session progress.

9. Service Provider Responsibility

Learn with Pierre makes every effort to ensure lesson quality and service continuity.
Responsibility cannot be engaged in case of unavailability due to independent technical issues (internet outage, power failure, video platform issues).
Learn with Pierre does not guarantee a specific numerical result (grades, exams) but provides methodological and pedagogical support.

10. Personal Data

Data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy available on the website.​

11. Intellectual Property

Teaching materials provided (sheets, diagrams, exercises) remain the property of Learn with Pierre.
Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or sharing is prohibited.

12. Disputes and Applicable Law

  • These GTC are governed by French law.

  • In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.

  • If no agreement is reached, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts.​

13. Consumer Mediation

In accordance with Article L612-1 of the Consumer Code, the client has the right to contact a consumer mediator free of charge to seek an amicable resolution of a dispute.
The mediator’s contact details will be provided upon request.
